Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Michael Van Wagenen for the World War II Homefront Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 16 June 1992. Hayes talks about her life in Provo, Utah and her experiences there during World War II. This includes the impact of the war on social and spiritual life and her fears relating to the war.
